Comments regarding this exhibit area:

The Butterfly Garden is located on the circle in front of the main entrance.
Because there is no curb cut to the area, there is no accessible route of
travel for someone to access this particularly lovely area.

Comments

On the “Long Island Today” exhibit, there is only 21 inches to view the table exhibit. Table exhibits/displays to not provide clear space so that someone using a wheelchair can access the display. Also, the signage for most of the displays is in very small print (typewriter) and somewhat faded, making visibility difficult.
